Dorothy was born on August 19, 1924, in St. Mary's, Iowa where she lived until her senior year in high school. She worked at Solar Aircraft during WWII. Dorothy danced her way into the heart of LaVere Seibert at a VFW Dance and the rest is history, five children and 59 years of marriage. She was known for her cooking, eggs on toast, fudge, divinity and brownies. Dorothy made each of her grandchildren feel like they were her favorite.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Margie (Keith) Kenyon of Dallas Center and Charlie (Norma) Seibert of Adel, five grandchildren, Joe Kenyon, Kathy (Paul) Fradd, Luke (Tosha) Seibert, Josie Seibert and Sarah (Robbie) Huffaker; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Seibert and Ruby Seibert. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, children, Jim, Jeanne and Kathryn, sisters, Mary Myers and Kathryn Myers and her brother, Lewis Myers.
