SEVEN MILE FORD, Va. Nancy Ellen Odham Hutton, age 64, passed away on Nov. 14, 2012, in the Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Smyth County, Va., to the late Daniel Brown Odham and Mary Nelle Crowe Calhoun. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. She had been employed at Natalie Knitting for 20 years and at Merillat until her illness. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, William Otis Hutton Jr.; two children, William Otis Hutton III and wife, Jill, and Sharon Melissa Hutton; three brothers, Edd Odham, Joe Odham and David Calhoun; five sisters, Margie Privett, Janie Umbarger, Stella Musser, Corrina Willoughby and Dorothy Blevins; two grandchildren, Kelly Ann Hutton and William Daniel Hutton; and special friends, Nellie Harmon, Susan Catron, Sue McClure, Beulah Bryant, Barry Loupe and Geraldine Johnson. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Patton, the nurses and the staff of Bristol Regional Medical Center Cancer Center. In following with Mrs. Hutton's wishes, her body will cremated and a private burial will be held at a later date in the Middle Fork Cemetery. The family will receive friends anytime at the home of William Hutton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Middle Fork Cemetery Fund, in care of Tommy Mcghee: PO Box 613, Chilhowie VA, 24319.
