He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Melinda Tidwell Key; daughter, Emily Key Cross; son-in-law, Gregory Michael Cross; son, Christopher Joseph Key; and grandson, Miles Key Cross.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. His latest and greatest joy was his grandson. He was a charming, charismatic, and well-liked gentleman who will be missed by his family and many friends.
