DOROTHY A. BANKS, 94, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at Bently Care Center of Naples, Fla. She was born July 12, 1918 in Fawn River Twp., Mich. a daughter of the late Frank and Clarisa (Benninghoff) Ream. Dorothy married Ralph Banks on April 9, 1939, and they lived in Fort Wayne until 1980. She retired from Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. after 30 years of service. After three years retirement at Lake George, Ind., they moved to Florida. She enjoyed her gardens and sewing. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Bonita Springs, Fla. Surviving are her daughter, Sharon Wible; son, Michael (Mary) Banks; and sister, Betty Ream, all of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Scott Thiel, Holly Nix, Brian and Mason Banks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Banks; brothers, Paul and Robert Ream; sisters, Ruth Walburn and Janice Ream. Private burial at Pretty Prairie Cemetery near Howe, Ind.
