Mr. Walton C. "Randy" Randolph, 86, beloved husband of Mrs. Berta A. Randolph of Boneville, Ga., died Friday, September 21, 2001, in the McDuffie County Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Curtis Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Ronnie Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Randolph, a native of Chattanooga, Tenn., had lived in Boneville for many years. He was a former shipbuilder and was the retired owner of Randys Candy Company. He was a member of the Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Berta Ansley Randolph; two sons, J. W. Randolph and Jerry Randolph, both of Boneville; two sisters, Bessie Crawley, Thomson and Thelma Smith, Harlem; a brother, James Robert Randolph, Thomson; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Crawley, Buddy Randolph, Williams Swan, Ted Holt Jr., Keith Watson and Mac Huff.

Friends may call at the residence of Jerry Randolph, 2663 Augusta Road or at Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday night at the funeral home.
