Dr. E.R. Zellner, Cameron Dentist Dies at Family Residence Thursday
Dr. Edward R. Zellner, 64, died at his family residence at 1 a.m. Thursday, July 22. He was ill only a short time prior to his death.
Dr. Zellner, well known Central Texas dentist, has practiced in Cameron since 1912. He had practiced dentistry in Rogers before coming to Cameron. He graduated from the Texas Dental College in Houston.
He was a native of Milam County, born in the Salem Community November 4, 1880. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Methodist Church in Cameron and the Karen Shrine in Waco.
He is survived by is widow, Mrs. Mayme Zellner; two brothers, Clarence Zellner of Lubbock, Earl Zellner of San Antonio; one sister Mrs. Harland Russell of Port Neches; two nieces Mrs. Jean Hibbler and Norma Russell of Port Neches.
Funeral services were scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday July 23rd at the First Methodist Church, Cameron, with Dr. Mark Magers, pastor, officiating. Graveside services at Oak Hill Cemetery will be under the direction of the Masonic Lodge, Marek-Burns Funeral Directors are in charge of the arrangements.
