Mrs. Bettie Young Allen, 76, daughter of the late W. L. Young and Nancy Robinson Young, was born in Campbellsville, Ky., Sept. 13th, 1890. Died January 10th, 1967 in Delhi, New York. She professed faith in Christ early in life and became a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Poe Allen; four children, Nancy Emmerson and Jack Allen, Delhi, N.Y.; Edgar Allen, Sacramento, Calif.; and Bill Allen, Brunswick, Ga.; also three sisters and one brother: Catherine Byles and Robinson Young, Campbellsville; Mary Reeves, Wilson, N.C.; and Nancy Henderson, Summersville, Ky.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. January 13th, at the Delhi Baptist Church with burial in the Delhi Cemetery.
