Stella R. Griskiewicz, 80, of Sterling Heights, died Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital West in Clinton Township. She has been a resident of the community since 1925. She grew up in Gaylord, MI.
She is survived by a son, Richard (Mary) Griskiewicz of Mount Clemens; daughters, Lorraine (Fred) Esper of Sterling Heights and Jeannette (Aloysius) Hessell of Utica; a sister, Clara Dutkiewicz of Utica; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben, in 1958; and a son, Alex, in 1957.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at the Wm Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, Utica; and at St. Lawerence Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Lawerence Cemetary, Utica.
Stella was a farmer. She was also a very caring and loving mother and wife. She is greatly missed.
