U.S. Veteran Donald Lee Stevens son of the late Ollie Parson Stevens and Robert Stevens was born at Zion, Missouri, on April 25, 1939. He departed this life at his residence in Bunker, Missouri, on November 9, 2008, having attained the age of 69 years, six months and 15 days.
On April 8, 1960 in Fredericktown, Missouri, Donald was united in marriage to Georgia Lee Warren; to this loving union three daughters were born. Donald was a Veteran of the United States Army and a former member of the Viburnum V.F.W. Donald's hobbies included painting, fishing, hunting and camping. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Charlie, Melvin and Jimmie Stevens, and two sisters, Alena Jean Crawford and Goldie McDonald.
Donald is survived by his wife Georgia Stevens of Bunker, MO, three daughters, Virginia Buckner and husband Steven of Fort Polk LA, Brenda Hammond and husband Shane of Bunker, MO, Christy Bullock and husband Andrew of Cadet, MO, one brother, Johnnie Stevens of Fredericktown, MO, one sister, Ola Berry of Sterling, IL, 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Donald will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing.
