CAMBRIDGE CITY- Mildred M. Cox, 86, passed away Thursday morning November 15, 2012 at Reid Hospital in Richmond. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 16, 1926 to Claude and Nellie (Hart) Lucas. On December 29, 1943 she married Wade Cox in Carrabelle, Florida. Mildred served as the Executive Secretary to the President of M.E.G. before her retirement. She was an avid reader, enjoyed antiquing and nature.

Survivors include three children, Anna Cox of Waterford, Michigan, Nancy (Rick) Keasling of Cambridge City, Ben (Debbie) Cox of Connersville; Five grandchildren, Adam, Heidi, Tonya, Lora, Ben; two step-grandsons, Shawn and Rick; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Alice Miller of San Diego, California; and a special friend, Deb Dysert of Waterford, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters Mary Klein and Emmajean Warner, two brothers Buck and Bill Lucas.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Raleigh Zion Cemetery, Raleigh, Indiana. Rev. Deb Dysert will preside. Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin has been entrusted with the arrangements.
