MISSION - Amadeo Acosta Sr., 93, passed away November 11, 2012 at LifeCare Hospital in Mcallen. He was preceded in death by his wife Julia Reyna Acosta; and by five siblings.
He is survived by his sons Amadeo (Josephine) Acosta Jr. and Rodolfo (Nena) Acosta; his brothers Angelberto (Aneliese+) Acosta, Leo (Velia) Acosta Jr., Adelmiro (Elva) Acosta; his sisters Leonor (Desiderio) Guzman, Consuelo (Isidoro) Munoz, Lydia (Roy) Quintanilla. He is also survived by his grandchildren David Acosta, Daniel Acosta, Angela Acosta, Rudy (Karina) Acosta, Susan (John) Hernandez, Julie (Glen) Sibley and by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 13, at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass was held Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 10:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in McAllen. Burial followed at Valley Memorial Gardens.
