She was born Aug. 26, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA; the first daughter of Ernest and Ellen Jacobson. She married Reginald Neil Acheson July 22, 1994 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Beloved Marsha grew up in Santa Barbara, CA; and graduated from San Marcos High, attended S.B. City College and then BYU. She was a Girl Scout counselor and served in the LDS church.
She worked for American Express, the State of Utah and as a Credit Counselor. Because of her pure love, understanding, optimism, and humor, she had many close friends. She loved playing the organ, gardening, nature, fishing, and the arts.
Survivors include her mother, Ellen Jacobson; sister, Mrs. David (Susan) Tomlinson; and many nieces and nephews who loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Jacobson, and her husband, Neil Acheson.
Funeral services will be held Sat., July 26, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 S. State St., Orem. A viewing will be held 9:15-10:15 a.m. prior to the funeral. The interment will be in the Centerville Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
