Asbery C. Reid died today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. N. Rushing, Redlands. Mr. Reid had been in failing health for sometime. The body is at the Kinsey Funeral Home, and funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mr. Reid was born Feb. 1, 1871, in Missouri, and he grew to manhood in that state. He married Lucy Witt in 1898 in Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Reid moved to Arkansas soon after their marriage, living there until coming to western Colorado in 1925. Mrs. Reid died several years ago. Mrs. Reid, a carpenter by trade, was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs. Rushing, Redlands, and Mrs. J. C. Corley, Craig; two sons, I. M. Reid, Spokane, Wash., and K. Z. Reid, Mack; and one brother, Charles Reid, Calvin, Okla.
