Joseph T. Vaughn, age 87, of Pemberville, OH passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Otterbein
Portage Valley Retirement Village, Pemberville, OH. He was born on July 12, 1925 in Commerce, GA to
Charles and Ida (Prickett) Vaughn. Joseph married Bonnie (Emch) Cook on September 9, 1961 in
Pemberville, OH and she survives. He was a foreman for Brush Wellman, Elmore, OH for over 40 years. Joe
served his country proudly in the United States Army during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1947.
He attended the First United Presbyterian Church of Pemberville, OH and was a member of the Pemberville
Freedom American Legion Post #183. Surviving Joe is his wife of 51 years: Bonnie, nephew: DeWitt, niece:
Patricia, stepsons: Ron Cook of Findlay, OH, Doug (Kathy) Cook of Pemberville, OH, 5 step grandchildren
and 8 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Family and
friends will be received on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home,
4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 15,
2012 at 10:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. James Miller. Interment will be in Pemberville Cemetery,
Pemberville, OH. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the First United Presbyterian Church,
Pemberville, OH immediately following the cemetery committal services. Considerations for memorial
