The 1900 census shows that John & Susan were married in 1860, and had 8 children, 6 of them still living. They had a daughter named Thula being born September 1881, by 1900 Elizabeth had married a Umphra and was a widow and had three children, Eva, Thomas and Noah. Nancy N Harwood born in Feb 1806 widow, mother of John B Bishop was living with them, this making a complete listing for the 1900 census of the family.

Note that Nancy Harwood in John and Susan Bishop's household in the 1900 census appears to have been the mother of Susan, not John. It looks like Nancy was married to a James Willis first and then to an unknown Harwood. In the 1850 census Nancy and James are living in Jasper County, Missouri with children Minerva 12, Susan 10 (born in TN--this would be John Bishop's wife), John 7, James 5, and Bazley 2. In the 1870 census Nancy Willis is listed in Ozark, Webster, Missouri without James but with children Bazley 21, Mary 17, and Henry 15. In the 1880 census Nancy Harwood is listed in Ozark, Webster, Missouri with son Henry Willis 26 and stepdaughter Nesttie (probably a mistranscription but I can't make out the original) Harwood 8.
