NOTE: New information has been received (09/18/2017). Linda Masser (#47781564) has photographed grave stones for Alfred Varley and Dora (Goodman) Varley in OAKWOOD CEMETERY, Traverse City, Grand Traverse, Michigan. Because I have a copy of the death record stating Alfred Varley was buried on Apr 24, 1923 in Houghton, Michigan and a record of Dora Varley (by Paula Jewett (#47307612)) that Dora was buried in Eureka Cemetery, Eureka, Juab County, Utah next to her sister in law, Lucy (Wakeman) Goodman. Apparently, they were both moved at a later date back to Michigan to the 1st addition of Oakwood Cemetery. Thank you, Linda, for this information and photos.

Additional information received from Jack Franke in Traverse City: Dora Varley was removed from Eureka, UT and brought to Oakwood Cemetery and her husband, Alfred was brought from Houghton, MI. This is from the Traverse City Clerks Office records but no dates of burial were entered. At least, we know that these two are definitely buried there. Thank you for your help, Jack.
