Son of John F. and Matilda J. Walters Adams, he was born Jan 6 1881, married Martha B. Brown, was widowed, a minister, lived at Rt 1 Mertztown, PA, died in Reading Hospital of cardiac arrest due to pulmonary emboli, fracture of left femur due to trauma after a fall from porch stoop at home, per death certificate 8628370, whose informant was Mrs. Theodore Kiffer of same address. Buried Sep 12 1970.

Rev. Loyal L. Adams, 89, died Wednesday morning in Reading Hospital, Reading. He was born Jan. 1881, in Butler County.

He married Martha Brown who died Oct. 30, 1957.

He was a Free Methodist Church pastor in Warren, Youngsville, and in Sugar Grove for 7 years, before retiring 15 years ago. He lived with his daughter the past few years at Tipton.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Audrey Kiffer, Tipton; a son, Dr. Paul Adams, North Chili, NY; and a number of grandchildren.

Services will be at Schoonover Funeral Home in Sugar Grove at 2 pm Saturday with Rev. Theodore Pagett, pastor of the Free Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Sugar Grove.
