Bill "Willy" Webb, 69, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home. Bill was born Sept. 4, 1943, in Flint, Mich. He was quick to say, "I got to Texas as fast as I could." He was a graduate of Trimble Tech High School in Fort Worth. Bill was very proud of his service in the U.S. Navy serving aboard the aircraft carrier USS Randolph. He was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church. Bill "Willy" Webb worked for 35 years for LTV and its successor, Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control. He retired on October 31, 1999. He had worked in A-7 Flight Test Instrumentation, Acoustic Lab, and Environmental Test Lab. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Marlo Webb, of Fort Worth. Survivors: His high school sweetheart, Sandy, whom he married 49 years ago; sons, Eric and wife, Dani, Mark and wife, Veronica, and Troy and wife, Vanessa; granddaughters, Lindsey and Marlo; grandsons, Zackary, Benjamin and Nathaniel; sisters, Cheryl Clair and husband, Don, Terri Smith and husband, Cliff; loving nephew, Mike Clair and wife, Christine; and a host of family members.
