Merle V. Eakin
EAKIN, Merle VALENTINE With his loving family at his side he peacefully passed away in his home at the age of 74. Merle was born in Oregon to Melvin and Sarah Eakin. Merle and Imogene Eakin shared six children, 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a Timber Cutter and a loving dad. He shared his enjoyment of the mountains by hunting, fishing, and camping with his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on December 30, 2006, 261 Spence Ave, Sutherlin, Oregon, at 2 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
