WATCHMAN FOUND DEAD IN LUMBER COMPANY'S OFFICE
John C. Bledsoe, 64 Years Old, Passes Away From Heart Disease While On Duty

John C. Bledsoe, 64 years old, of 1237 South Seventeenth street, night watchman at the plant of the North Vernon Lumber Company, Fourteenth and Hill streets, was found dead in the company's office at 5:30 yesterday morning by William Stinson, who was to relieve him. Bledsoe was sitting in a chair, and Deputy Coroner William T. Kammerer, who was called, said death was due to heart disease. A time clock had been wound at 10:00 Saturday night and it is thought the man died shortly after that time.
Mr. Bledsoe is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nannie M. Bledsoe; four daughters, Mrs. Minnie Kennedy of Windfall, Ind; Mrs. D. Lawrence of Lexington; Miss Bettie H. Bledsoe, of South Pasadena, Cal., and Miss Laura Bledsoe, and three sons, W. S. Bledsoe of Cincinnati; C. S. Bledsoe of Evansville, Ind., and Herold Bledsoe. Three step-children also survive, Mrs. Bettie K. Armes, Robert E. and Breckinridge Moore, the latter a chauffeur at the Seventh district police station. There are two brothers, William Bledsoe, of Ozark Mountains, Missouri, and Willis Bledsoe of Elmville, Ky., and a sister, Mrs. DeWitt Griggs of Wako, Ky.
