Roy Bartleson, of F.H.A., Dies
Roy F. Bartleson, 61, chief mortgage-credit examiner for the Federal Housing Administration's office here, died Wednesday at Grenada, Miss., where he was visiting relatives.
Bartleson, had been with F.H.A. since 1935. He was a star center on the 1921 Monticello High School basketball team which went to the state tournament finals. He was a member of Monticello Christian Church and was an Army Veteran of World War II.
Survivors are his wife, the former Lyde Bloodworth; a sister, Mrs. John C. Burton, and a brother, James Bartleson, Monticello…. Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery.
