Alexander's death, Jane married Thomas Burnes and was widowed a fourth time before she died in 1904. Jane is buried in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery where Alexander is buried. (Jane's daughter, Martha, married a Cantrell.)

After Jane's death Alexander married Jane Cantell Wilmoth in 1862 in Madison Co., Ak.
Siblings are Robert Peter Goad (1805-1835), Mary M. Goad Dodson (1807-1831), twin brother Thomas Goad (1810-xxxx), Isabelle Goad Driver (1811-1875), Ephraim C. Goad (1815-1881), James Madison Goad (1817-1865) and Margaret Goad Wood (1820-1888).
