William "Bill" Lee Barr

Tuscaloosa- William "Bill" Barr, 73, of 1020 Wakefeild Drive, died August 12, 2001 at his residence, Services will be held at Memory Chapel, August 14, 2001 at 3p.m. Charles Durham and Rev. Joe Wills will be officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hills Gardens, Visitation is tonight from 6-8 p.m. at Memory Chapel.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jeff W. Barr, Sr.; his Mother. Juanita Love Barr; and his brother, Jeff W. Barr,Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Farley Barr; daughters, Lorraine Barr Hall (Harold),and Susan Barr Adams (David); sisters, Sammy Barr Dockery; and Gladys Barr Rodenberry; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Barr was in the US Navy and a veteran of WWII.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Jeff E. Rodenberry, Douglas J. Rodenberry, George W. Dockery,III, and his friend and neighbor, Jerome Dixon.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. George W. Miller, Dr, W.Ford Simpson, Dr. Shelby P. Sanford, Hospice of West Alabama, and members of the class of 1945 Tuscaloosa High School.
