J. Ralph Capper, 86, of Carrollton died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, in Great Trail Nursing Center.
He was born Feb. 29, 1916, in Carroll County, the son of the late James W. and Anna L. Tripp Capper and was a life resident of Carroll County. He was a farmer, and he retired in 1974 from Carroll Electric after 15 years of service. He was a member of the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.
Ralph is survived by two sons, . . . ; three daughters, . . . ; one sister, . . . 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne E. Capper.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Allmon-Dugger & Hively Funeral Home in Carrollton with Pastor James Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 on Friday at the funeral home. Allmon-Dugger & Hively (330) 627-2121.
