Allen M. Finnell, 70, Dies at Hospital Today
Allen M. Finnell, 70, lifelong resident of Jackson Township, died at city hospital at 7 a.m. today from complications. He had been in the hospital six days.
Mr. Finnell was born in Jackson Township Nov. 30, 1864, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Finnell. For more than 50 years he had operated the same farm about two miles from Roscoe. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was widely known in the vicinity of Roscoe.
In addition to his widow, Mrs. Rebecca Finnell, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles Kirkpatrick of St. Thomas, Canada, two grandchildren and a brother, J. M. Finnell of Columbus.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Baptist Church in Coshocton in charge of Rev. J. O. White. Burial will be in the Roscoe Cemetery. The body may be viewed at the People's Funeral Home prior to the services.
