The following poem was published in the newspaper: In Troy on the 16th inst., Visa Kinney Hubbard youngest daughter of E. A. and Eliza Hubbard, aged 5 years, 4 months, and 21 days.

Wait, little visa, watt
When you get to the beautiful land,
Tarry a little, our darling
Ere you join the heavenly band.

Stand close to the shining gates of pearl,
Look out on the narrow way,
For we want the first glance of our heaven born sight
On our darling one to stray.

Wait, little Visa, wait,
When you reach the Courts above
Look down with the light of your beautiful eyes
On those you here so loved.

Whisper sweet dreams in our earthly ears
When we lie down to sleep;
Paint bright pictures before our eyes
When we awake to weep.

Wait, little Visa, wait
When you reach the heavenly strand
For your father and mother may be toiling up
To the hights of the better land.
