OBITUARY:

Harriet J. Hesterman lifelong resident of Glen Ellyn.

The visitation for Harriet J. Hesterman, 89, will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 18, at the Leonard Memorial Home, Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. Private funeral service will be officiated by the Rev. George Smith. Private interment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn. Born Feb. 17, 1918, in Oak Park, she died Thursday, June 14, 2007, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Mrs. Hesterman was a homemaker. Harriet attended Glenbard High School in Glen Ellyn. She loved to read and cook, and enjoyed sports on TV and The Food Channel. She is survived by her loving daughter, Susan (Richard) Edwards of Glen Ellyn; and dear sister, Joan (Ralph) Campato of LaJuna Woods, Calif. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lee W. Hesterman; her brother, William Dieterle; and sister, Carol Keyes. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Glen Ellyn Historical Society, 800 N. Main St., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137.
