Mrs. Olive Pittman, 76, of Clinton, Iowa, formerly of Edwardsville, died at 3 a.m. Monday in Mercy Hospital in Clinton, where she ha dbeen a patient for the last three weeks.
Mrs. Pittman was an Edwardsville resident until she moved to Clinton in 1975. She was born May 12, 1900, in Edwardsville, a daughter of the late Henry P. and Emma Koch Stullken.
She was married to Fred H. Pittman on Sept. 20, 1923, in Edwardsville. He died on Jan. 13, 1976.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Robert Fred Pittman of Clinton, two grandsons and two granddaughters. One sister and four brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Pittman was a lifelong member of the Immanuel Methodist Church, and a member of the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Home Extension Club (Unit B), and a former member of the Monday Federated Club of Edwardsville.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Weber Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Totten officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Weber Funeral Home.
