Obituary for "Mrs. Iola Hefley" from THE JACKSON SUN newspaper--"Services for Mrs. Iola Hefley, 72, who resided at 124 Cartmell, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. from the Main Street Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, with Reverend Paul Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hefley, was born in Henderson County, and had lived in Jackson since 1936. On November 12, 1922, she was married to E H. Hefley who survives. She was a member of the Liberty Grove Baptist Church. Other than her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Don Carloos, Sr., Jackson, Mrs. John Ross, Henderson, Mrs. James V. Guest, Alexandria, La., and Mrs. Joyce Cox, Laie, Hawaii; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren."
