Evelyn A. Lamond. Antioch, Illinois. Evelyn A. Lamond, 92, of Antioch, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at the Fountains of Crystal Lake. She was born Dec. 1, 1909, in Chicago to Osborne and Augusta (Smith) Olsen. She was a homemaker. She was a resident, of the Fountains of Crystal Lake for seven years. Survivors include two sons, Barry Lamond of Land O'Lakes, Wis., and Donald O. (Betty) Lamond of Algonquin; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Wilbur, whom she married in 1931 and who preceded her in death in 1 983. The memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Retirement Center of the Fountains of Crystal Lake, with the Rev. Roger Sass officiating. Burial will be private. Arrangements were made by Wait-Ross-Allanson Algonquin Chapel, 201 S. Main St., Algonquin, (847) 658-4232.
