Mr. James D. McKinnon, age 86, of Senoia, Ga., died at his residence on July 25, 2012. He was born in Waycross, Ga. on Oct. 30, 1925.
He served in the United States Army. He attended Miracle Way Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, David McKinnon; brother, Charlie McKinnon; and sisters, Abby, Gladys, Rachel, and Viola. Surviving are his wife, Gladys Bradberry McKinnon; sons, Gary McKinnon of Forest Park, Darrell McKinnon (Alicia) of McDonough, and Phillip McKinnon (Denise) of Carrollton; daughters, Norma Jean Wallace (Bill) of Senoia and Cheryl Howard (Kenny) of Senoia; 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 27 at 2 p.m. at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Funeral Home, Rev. Harry Gann and Rev. Ken Smith officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Senoia.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, 6 to 8.
