Mary J. Russell, 82, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born August 28, 1930 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Edward Lee Wilder and Mary P. Wilder. She married Milton Hollis Russell, who preceded her in death. She was a Registered Nurse for St. Francis Hospital and Health Center in Beech Grove for many years and then in private practice for Dr. Fortuna in Beech Grove before retiring.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Barr (Jo Ellen) of Greenwood, Indiana, Jeff Barr of Greenwood, and Brian Barr of Indianapolis; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter Audrey Barr, brother Robert Wilder, her husband, and parents. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 A.M. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana. Swartz Family Church and Chapel – Funeral and Cremation Services in Greenwood is handling the arrangements.
