L. Caroll Reitz, 76, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Porter Twp near New Bethlehem, PA, Caroll and her husband were co-owners of Reitz Stores Inc. DBA Scotts IGA on East State Street and started their business in 1967. She then became a Board Member and Secretary with Scott's Food Stores, Inc. for 20 yrs. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, Bonita Bay Country Club in Bonita Springs, FL and Sycamore Hills Country Club. She enjoyed her winters in Florida, reading and growing her beautiful flowers, she had a passion for making special occasions special with cards and letters. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grand mother and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, William G. Reitz of Fort Wayne, IN daughters, Laurie L. (Steve) Grashoff of Fort Wayne, IN, Jean A. (Clint) Bookout of Fort Wayne, IN grandchildren, Amanda (David) Keister Beth (Jason) Mueller, Brittany (Aaron) Powell , Zachary (Liz) Clevenger, Taylor Bookout. Great-grandchildren, Alexia and Aiden Mueller, Dylan, Caleb and Logan Keister, and Tinsley Powell. Brothers, Paul Wells of CO. Dwight Wells of Troy, OH and a sister, Shirley Grinder of New Bethlehem, PA. Caroll was preceded in death by her parents Percy E. and Helen M. Wells, son, William G. Reitz Jr., and brother, Donald Wells.

Service is 10:00 am, November 14, 2012 at - D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling 1hr prior and Pastor Karen Koelsch officiating. Calling also at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont RoadTuesday, November 13, 2012 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery , Fort Wayne, Indiana.
