WILLIAM E. THEOBALD SUCCUMBS AT HOSPITAL

William E. Theobald, 76, former resident of Shelby county and Shelbyville, died at Community Hospital in Indianapolis Saturday at 10:00 p.m. He had been in failing health for more than a year. Mr. Theobald's home was 3242 N. Bancroft St., Indianapolis.

Mr. Theobald was born in Kansas City but resided in this community most of his life until moving to Indianapolis about 1920. He is survived by two daughters and one son, Mrs. Ray Herndon of R.R.2, Mrs. Gladys Lemasters of R.R.6 and Edwin E. Theobald of Indianapolis. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Emma Fisher, of Shelby County, and Mrs. Lula Davis of this city.

Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. (DST) Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Harry W. Moore Peace Chapel on W. Michigan St., Indianapolis, tonight.
