Tommy Zane Adkins, 44 of Talcott, died at 7:25 a.m. Friday March 6, 2009 at his home following a long illness.
Born January 31, 1965 in Richmond, VA he was the son of Lynn Martin of Talcott & the late Oliver C. Adkins.
Tommy was a former construction worker and had lived in Talcott for several years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Besides his mother, other survivors include one son, Shane Adkins of Charlotte, NC. One daughter, Kaitlyn Adkins of Marie. Three brothers, Terrance Adkins of Upper Marlboro, MD, Lewis Adkins of Florida & Wayne Martin of Talcott. Two sisters, Shelia Adkins of Talcott & Prinzie Nicholl of Hanover, PA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday March 9, 2009 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Pastor Derrick Leslie officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Burial Park in Hinton.
