Mr. Jacob Corminey, Sr., died at his home at the toll-gate on the Milledgeville pike Thursday morning after several weeks' illness of pneumonia, aged 72. Besides a wife he left four sons, who will greatly miss a kind and indulgent father. At 2 o'clock Thursday the body was laid to rest in the burying ground at Preachersville after appropriate remarks by Rev. W. T. B. White.
