ADA - Ernest Earl Dicus, 72, Rt. 2, died at 11:50 p.m. Thursday in Maywood, Calif.
He was born June 4, 1894, in Hardin County. He married Effie Lena Tuttle who died in 1957. He was a retired employe of Baldwin Lima Hamilton Corp. in Lima.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Irene LaFollette of Ada and Mrs. Charles (Neva) Winegardner of Lima; a son, Richard of Ada; a brother, Glen of Youngstown; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Dreitzler of Belle Center and Miss Helen Dicus of Mansfield; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Hanson Funeral Home in Alger with Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in McDonald Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
