Nellie Blanche Keylor, age 92, of Caldwell, died Saturday, July 22, 2006, in Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born February 10, 1914, in Monroe County, Ohio, daughter of the late Daniel and Belle Hutchins Hayes.

She was employed as a cook for Shenandoah High School and as a clerk for the former K-V Store in Caldwell, and was a Senior Companion at Summit Acres Nursing Home, Caldwell. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Masterton Chapter #584, and a member of the Calais Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Keylor, who died in 1972; three sons, William and Joseph Keylor and an infant son; four brothers, Truman, Irvin, Allen, and David Hayes and two infant brothers; and two sisters, Nona Hayes and Grace Clause.

Surviving are two sons, Manifred (Kathy) Keylor of Woodsfield and Charles Keylor of New Lexington; a sister, Edna Truax of Caldwell; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Friends may call Tuesday, July 25, 2006, from 4-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, Caldwell. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at 11AM at Calais Community Church, Calais, with Pastor Matt Zurowski officiating. Burial will follow at Eastern Cemetery, Summerfield.

She had an infant son that was born and died Jan. 12, 1948, he was born in Monroe Co. Ohio but not sure where he is buried.
