Also found in the same paper: A sad death occurred early yesterday afternoon when Mrs. Mamie Frost, the wife of Mr. Charles Wesley Frost, died at her home on the Winnsboro road just above the city. She was only 29 years old and leaves beside her husband a 3-year-old son and an infant babe. The funeral will be held today at 11 a.m. at the home and the interment will be in the cemetery. Mrs. Frost was the daughter of Capt. W. H. Sligh and had many friends in Columbia.
Her DOB above comes from the 1900 US Census for Upper Township, Richland, SC. She is 27, and the wife of Charles W., 32. She has been married two years and is the mother of one with no surviving. She was born in SC. She is enumerated as Mary C. and she is enumerated as being born in 1873, however, on close inspection it appears to say 1875 to me.
