Dorothy A. Dyer, 93, of Cleburne passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in Cleburne. She was born January 20, 1920 in Glen Rose to Hans Christian and Gennetta Hanna Hanson.
Survivors include her children, Jo Nash, Jean Bennett and husband Reed Sr. and Larry Dyer; seven grandchildren, Patti, Reed, Chris, Phillip, Jonathan, Julie and Clay; 15 great grandchildren and one on the way; three great-great grandchildren; siblings, Ruby Christy and Weldon Hanson; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Ollie Hanson, Leona Bullard, Bernice Davis, Willa Mae Bullard, Orville Hanson, Gladys Dyer, Homer Hanson and Opal Jolly.
Service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 27, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Chaplain Matthew McKethan will officiate. Burial will be in Baker Lain Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home.
