Jack Ray Featheringill, 57, of Valley View, TX, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012, at his son's home in Lakewood, Colorado. Jack was born August 19, 1955, in Casper, Wyoming, to Claude and Ioda Featheringill. On June 28, 1975, Jack married his high school sweetheart Kathy Sullivan, in Casper Wyoming. Jack began his 31-year career in the oil and gas industry in 1981. After traveling, working and living in various places, Jack and Kathy currently reside in Valley View, Texas, where Jack was Area Operations Manager for Pumpco Services. Jack, and his wife, Kathy, were blessed with two sons, Jack Jr. and Adam; since 2006 added two wonderful daughter-in-laws, Shereen and Jenny; and a beautiful grand-daughter, Elizabeth, all living in Colorado. Jack's love for his family was unmeasurable. He was an amazing husband, father and papa (grandfather). Jack's interests varied from fishing to driving race cars of all types. He was also a "History Buff" and loved to read military books and watch war documentaries. But his pride and joy was his 2009 Silver Corvette Z06!!!

Jack is survived by his wife, Kathy Featheringill, of Valley View, TX; two sons, Jack Jr. and Adam Featheringill all of Colorado; mother, Ioda Featheringill of Republic, MO; two sisters, Claudia Shultz of Kansas City, MO. and Rebecca Towslee of Caldwell, TX.; and one brother, Roy Russell Featheringill of Casper, WY. Jack was preceded in death by his father, Claude Featheringill; brother, William Featheringill; maternal and paternal grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements are being handled by Drinkwine Family Mortuary in Littleton, Colorado. The Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, November 10, 2012, at 1 p.m.; with visitation being held Thursday, November 9, 2012, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A dear family friend, Tony Petrelli, will be officiating. Burial will follow at Littleton Cemetery with a reception afterwards at Crystal Rose. Memorials may be made to Colon Cancer Alliance at ccalliance.org
