Mary Dean Wright, 69, of Zearing died of a Heart attack Friday at Story County Hospital in Nevada. The body will be cremated and memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethel United Methodist Church, of which she was a member. Burial of cremains will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Nevada Municipal Cemetery.
Mrs. Wright was in Nemaha and lived in Nevada 36 years before moving to Zearing in 1992. She was a homemaker, had worked for the Story County treasurer's office, and was a member of United Methodist Women and Zearing Senior Citizens.
Surviving are her husband, James; two sons, Edmond of Zearing and Marvin of McCallsburg; a daughter, Linda Wright of McCallsburg; three brothers, Allen Fanning of Shelbyville, Ill., Robert Fanning of Lower Burrell, Pa., and David Fanning of San Leandro, Calif.; a sister, Eugenia Grimm of Bloomington, Minn.; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada. Memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Manor in Zearing.

Mary graduated from West Bend (Iowa) High School in 1947. She married James E. Wright 25 Feb 1951 in West Bend, Palo Alto, Iowa.
