3rd of 11 known children of Samuel David Demarest (1656-1728) and Maria Simon (DeRuine) Demarest, Jaquemina was first married to Samuel H. Helling (aka Helm) on Nov 10, 1705. They would have 3 known children: Teunis S. (1706-1791); Samuel (1708-1784); & Susanna (Helling) Quackenbosch (1709-1769).
Jaquemina then married Cornelius Van Hoorn Jr on July 16, 1711. They would have 6 known children: Margrietje C. (1712-1716); Annaetjen (Van Hoorn) Banta (1714-1757); Cornelius (1716-1743); Maria (1718-1745); Lucas (1723-1775); and Daniel (1728-1755).
Jaquemina is reported in family history records to have died from childbirth complications a day after the birth of son Daniel.
