Mrs. Cynthia Hubbard, wife of the late George Hubbard, was born at Deer Fork, in Reynolds County, MO, December 25, 1871, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lottie Richards, of St. Louis, Tuesday, December 5, 1933, aged 61 years, 11 months and 10 days. She was united in marriage to George W. Hubbard on 3 Feb 1890 in Shannon County, MO.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bessie Hubbard Lay.

Surviving are four sons, William Hubbard of Elvins, John Hubbard of Richwoods, Reuben W. 'Rube' Hubbard of Bunker, and Tom Hubbard of Pleasant Hill, IL; a daughter, Mrs. Lottie Richardson of St. Louis; and 21 grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the home of her son, William Hubbard of Elvins, by Rev. Roy Reynolds. Interment was in the Layne Cemetey near Elvins.
