Charleston - Funeral service for Jesse Frank Lee Sr. of Charleston will be held Friday at McMikle Funeral Chapel here. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery near here.
Mr. Lee, 61 years old, died today at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Mar. 20, 1927, at Wickliffe, Ky., the son of Arthur Harrison and Mary Betty Sams Lee. He and the former Edith Berry were married June 25, 1948.
He had lived in this area since 1957, and was a welder at Waterfront Service at Cairo, Ill., retiring this year because of ill health.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church here, and had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Frank Jr. and Tracy A. Lee; a daughter, Mrs. Ben Whitehead; three brothers, Robert, Henry and Walter Lee; a sister, Lucille Hughes; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.
