Peggy was united in marriage to Gary McDonald on September 5, 1981. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Peggy is survived by her parents; Ben and Mary Morgan, of Salem; her husband, Gary, of their home in Salem; five children, Jack McDonald, of Salem; Danielle McDonald, of Rolla; Patience, Thomas and William McDonald, all of Salem; grandchildren, Joshua, Shawn, Madison, Jayden and Taven; numerous cousins, friends and church family.
Peggy was a member of Salem Church of Christ. She had a big heart and a great love for children. She and Gary were parents to numerous foster children over the years. Peggy will be deeply missed by her family and all who loved her.
Funeral service for Peggy E. McDonald was 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 1, 2012 at Dent County Memorial Chapel with Otis Brown and Rick Pitchford officiating. Congregational songs were led by Tom Fleener. Serving as pallbearers were Tony Andonoff, Paul Irovic, Matt Hayes, John Haley, Tim Haley and Daniel Black. Serving as honorary pallbearers were David McDonald, Clifton McDonald and Stew Johnson.
