Former resident dies in Alabama.
Belve Moody Dyar, 64, Gadsden, Ala., died Wednsday August 26, after an illness of several months. Funeral services were held Friday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Rayford Duke officiating. Interment was in Forrest Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Christie Pickett Dyar, two sons, James H. Dyar, Birmingham, and Robert D. Dyar, Alabaster; four sisters, Mrs. O. C. Morton, Hartsell, Mrs. James R. Sauls, and Mrs. Pauline Stewart, Gadsden and Mrs. Paul E. Lowery, Birmingham; three brothers, Dr. J. P. Dyar, Huntsville; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Dyar was a native of Douglass, Ala. and a resident of Gadsden for the past 25 years. He was a former resident of Lamar County, Corinth community.
