Arthur Dale Schrader was born on June 9, 1940 in Salem, Missouri to William and Georgia (Pace) Schrader. He passed away at his home in Salem on October 9, 2012 at the age of 72 years and 4 months.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one brother, Donald Schrader.
Arthur is survived by three children, John Ginn and wife, Linda; Billy Jo Whitaker and Carmeletta Ann Schrader; four brothers, Dwight Schrader, of Granite City, Illinois; Larry Schrader, Jimmy Conduitt and Gary Conduitt, all of Salem; and Allen Schrader; seven sisters, Darlene Wethy and husband, Jerry, of Salem; Pat Dockery and husband, Vernon, of Scottsville, Kentucky; Carmeletta Mendez and husband, Rafael and Ellen Hedgcoth and husband, Michael, all of Salem; Darrel Schrader, of Granite City, Illinois; Allene Love, Cheryl Schrader and Debbie Schrader; four grandchildren, John Ginn Jr, Paige Whitaker, Danielle Whitaker and Loren Worthen Jr.; two great grandchildren, Ava Plank and Loren Worthen III; one aunt, Rozella Wofford, of Salem and a host of nieces and nephews.
Arthur was baptized at Second Baptist Church. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed doing wood carving for many years.
Funeral service for Arthur Dale Schrader was 11:00 a.m. Friday October 12, 2012 at Dent County Memorial Chapel with Charlie Younger officiating. Music was provided by recorded selections. Serving as pallbearers were Vernon Dockery, Jim Conduitt, Mike Dockery, Tim Conduitt, Rafael Mendez and Gerald Wethy. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery with full military honors.
