Clyde Richard McCracken, Jr., 76, of Macon, Mo, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon. He was born December 7, 1935, in Chillicothe, Mo., the son of Clyde and Louetta Lavina (Roney) McCracken. Clyde was united in Marriage to Linda Kay Vaughn on December 8, 1967, in Chillicothe. He loved reading, visiting with people, scratch off tickets, watching sports on TV, and traveling. Clyde is survived by three daughters; Pam Cosby and husband, Bill of the Macon, Mo. area, Paula McCracken of Carthage, Mo, and Sherie Bork and husband, Paul of Macon, Mo; eight grandchildren, Dustie McCracken, Garrett and Carmen Techau, Aaron, Alex, and Andrew Cosby, Kaylea and Hannah Bork; two great-grandchildren, Chloe Southers and Abby Cosby; two brothers, Paul McCracken and wife, Waltran of Colorado and Bill McCracken and wife, Lorna of Chillicothe and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter, Tammy Techau; two brothers, Clarence and George Raymond McCracken and two sisters; Joyce McMinn and Sharon Mott. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon with Pastor Eugene Stueve officiating. Burial will be in the Log Chapel Cemetery in Higbee, Mo. Visitation will be Friday evening November 9, 2012, from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Log chapel Cemetery in Higbee.
