John Otis Sutherland, 75, of Wilder, Idaho, formererly of Ozark, Arkansas, died Wednesday, April 5, 1995, in Orangevale, Calif., after a brief illness.

Son of the late John Sidney and Nora Ensley Sutherland, he was a retired carpenter. He served during World War II with the 3rd Division 30th Infantry Regiment.

Survivors include his wife, Eva; two sisters, Hallie Dobbins of Altus, AR and Allie Sitz of Ozark, AR; and three brothers, Frank and Demus Sutherland of Ozark, AR, and Dewey Sutherland of Clarksville, AR.

Funeral services were held April 11, 1995 in Redwood Chapel, with burial in Garden of Serenity Oakmont Memorial Park at Lafayette, Calif. Attending from Ozark, AR were Demus and Irene Sutherland.
